Meet the face behind the name Rhodes Hinman Craft + Design Studio! He’s been a woodworker for 12 years and graduated from the Evergreen State College with a degree in Woodworking + Furniture Design. An Austin native, he’s been back since 2018 and started his own business a year later. His shop is located inside of @splintergroupatx which he helps manage. Splinter group is an Austin institution that’s provided accessible workshop and studio space to Austin makers for over 20 years. In his spare time, he loves nerding out on woodworking details, playing soccer, and spending time with his family (aka wife @quietcricketstudio + 2 dogs).
