As the “1” in the name suggests, this is the design that started it all. Featuring a single drawer and a curved top, the creature cabinet was never intended to optimize maximum functionality. It is actually intended for quite the opposite. The intention is for the creature cabinet to hold special objects, or hold a special place in the home. What special means to each person will vary though. It could mean that you keep sacred objects in it, and reserve use the cabinet only for spiritual rituals.
